Domaine Thomson ≡

Activities

Domaine thomson can be used as a guest house, for independant travelers, or a room can be rented as part of a ‘Holiday package’.   The holiday package listed below quotes prices for stays of one week.   If guests prefer a shorter or longer stay, this can also be accommodated.

Domaine thomson has partnered up with local businesses to offer you the activities on Domaine Thomsons doorstep:

  • Art classes
  • Pottery courses
  • Cycling/velo
  • Horseriding (These need a minimum of 4 horseriders in order to run)
  • Winemaking
  • Walking/Rambling
  • Orchid spotting
  • Bird-watching
  • French language conversation/grammar
  • Hunting

All these holidays have a starting price of 525 euros for two persons sharing a room for one week. (262.50 euros each). Fees will be added to this specific to the activity

The above holidays can be taken as one week half-board packages, which will have a surcharge for tuition for horseriding, winemaking, and French classes. The other holidays can be lead by the holidaymaker themselves with guidance and suggestions from the guest house owner. These holidays will be organized so that the holidaymaker has time to pursue their chosen activity for up to half a day at a time, or longer if desired, with leisure time every day, or alternate days, to be able to do sightseeing in the region, relaxing by the pool, or just absorbing the French lifestyle.

Breakfast is included for all guests, and half board will include a packed lunch, which can be eaten out and about, or at Domaine Thomson.

Evening meals are available when requested in advance. These begin at 15 euros per head for a two course meal including wine. The banquet dinner costs 25 euros per head and is a five course dinner including wine. All meals are prepared freshly using vegetables grown here, and as much as possible, locally sourced meats. Special dietary needs can be catered for imaginatively. For cyclists I have put together a selection of special menus that I feel would suit your needs.
